Trainees in “The Project for Supporting the Implementation of School Lunch Services in Mongolia” organized by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visited UNP.
For five days between June 26th and 30th, in total 12 visitors consisting of an officer from the Mongolian Ministry of Education and Science, a university professor, dietitians, and elementary school principals, came to Niigata city as part of “The Project for Supporting the Implementation of School Lunch Services in Mongolia” sponsored by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
During their stay, they had the opportunity to visit a school meals supply center, a local elementary school as well as our university. The exchange session at UNP was a valuable experience for our students who had a chance to hear from and talk with the speakers. Professor Murayama of the Department of Health and Nutrition, Faculty of Human Life Studies, is also involved in the support of this project in Mongolia.
