International Joint Online Seminar 2020 organized by the University of Niigata Prefecture “Post-Corona Global Society: Our New Path to the Sustainable Development Goals” 

インドネシア・米国・中国・香港・台湾・韓国・ロシアから海外協定大学の学生62名と本学の学生17名の計79名が結集！！

11月14日（土）に「国際オンラインセミナー」が開催されます。
セミナーに先立ち、10月中旬から約1ケ月間にわたり学生間交流と事前学習を始めています。
事前学習は、本学の教員の講義動画を毎週1本見て、Padletというウェブ上の掲示板とZoomミーティングを使いながら、グループディスカッションをしています。
1週目は自己紹介をして、様々な国の学生たちと交流する素晴らしい機会となりました。
2週目から、本格的なディスカッションが始まりました。
セミナー当日の11月14日は、Zoomを使用して、3時間のグループワークを行います。その後、グループワークの成果を発表する予定です。本学の学生も、PadletとZoomを使いながら、英語を使い、多くの国の学生との交流や活発な討論を楽しんでいます。

コロナ禍で留学が実現できない今、本学ではこのような「新たな形の交際交流」を大切にしていきたいと考えています。

A total of 79 students from Indonesia, the U.S., China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea , Russia, and Japan, including 62 students from our partner universities and 17 students from our university, gathered together!

The International Joint Online Seminar will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020, and the month-long prior learnings for the seminar began in mid-October.
In this month-long prior learnings, students watch a video lecture by UNP professors every week, used a web-based bulletin board called “Padlet” to post on it while having discussions, and then have weekly Zoom meetings to discuss in groups made up of students from a variety of universities and countries.
In the first week, students introduced themselves and had a wonderful opportunity to interact with students from different countries, and in the second week, the real discussion started!
On Saturday November 14, 3 hours of group work and presentations will be held using Zoom. 
Participants are enjoying exchanges and lively discussions with students from many countries.

Now that study abroad is not possible due to the coronavirus crisis, we would like to emphasize the importance of “new forms of social exchange.”
